The Company
We are a Manchester distillery, originally specializing in craft & liqueurs, we now have an extensive range of spirits within our portfolio, with something for everyone. We are now looking welcome someone enthusiastic and passionate about the Hospitality industry to represent our products to the best of their abilities.
We are looking for a sales person to take on the challenge of becoming our new Manchester BDM. Initially covering Manchester City Centre and surrounding areas within year 1, with the expectancy to progress to covering more of the north in year 2. The expectation is to build a network of trade connections using our extensive portfolio, driving new business opportunities and developing both on trade and off trade education on our products.
This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Bar/Hospitality Manager looking to move away from the late nights and weekends and move into the on trade sector. We would also consider an existing BDM looking for a new challenge with an exciting portfolio and uncapped earning opportunities.
For the role of Business Development Manager you will receive:
- A generous 26,000 basic salary + uncapped commission
- Monday – Friday hours

Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager will include:
- Actively prospecting new accounts
- Grow distribution of brands across the portfolio
- Develop and increase brand awareness
- Maximise sales through customer education
- Attend regular meetings with new and existing customers
- Provide support with activations by attending events and tastings
- Develop a network within the Greater Manchester Area
- Report comprehensively weekly on sales calls and leads
For the role we require:
- Hospitality/Sales experience is desirable
- Experience and background knowledge of spirits & liqueurs
- Passionate and driven
- Strong communication and people skills
- Highly organised and good time management
- Self motivated
- UK driver’s license highly desirable
