Business Administrator Apprentice - Level 3
This vacancy is for a Business Administrator Apprentice based in Preston. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to support the business with general administrative duties as well as other ad-hoc duties defined by management.
The general administration duties within this role may include:
- Tracking daily shipments and updating customers.
- Speaking to shipping agencies / worldwide agents.
- Speaking to customers for shipping and updates via telephone and email.
- Booking in deliveries with customers.
- Custom clearance shipments.
- Invoicing customers.
- Filing and photocopying.
- Sending post.
- Data input.
- All day-to-day office operations work.
Prospects:
- Potential contract extension or full employment.
Qualifications required:
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A - C 9/4) - Essential
- GCSE or equivalent Mathematics (Grade A - C 9/4) - Essential
Personal Skills required:
- Communication: Communicate with customers and colleagues clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- IT Skills: Experience in relevant software.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
