Description
Apply today to work at Mybe as part of the DPD franchise business based in Chester Le Street. Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will gain a Level 3 Business Admin qualification.
As a Business Administration Level 3 Apprentice at our DPD franchise business, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our administrative processes. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business administration, including but not limited to, customer service, data entry, record keeping, and general office management tasks. This apprenticeship will provide you with valuable skills and knowledge to progress in your career within the logistics and delivery industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service Support: Assisting with customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support via phone, email, or in-person communication.
2. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately inputting data into various systems and maintaining organized records of transactions, deliveries, and other relevant information.
3. Office Management: Assisting with office organization, including filing paperwork, managing office supplies, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
4. Administrative Assistance: Providing general administrative support to colleagues and managers as required, including scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and coordinating meetings.
5. Learning and Development: Actively participating in training sessions and learning opportunities provided as part of the apprenticeship program to develop skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Entry requirements
  • Minimum of Mathematics and English at Level 2 or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
Training to be provided
One day a week at New College Durham for training.
