We are working in partnership with a prestigious charity based in London, who is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their fast-growing team.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, offering a salary of £34,000 per annum.
Hybrid working is offered including two days working from home, however the successful candidate will be expected to be on site full time for the first couple months.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Reporting directly into the Financial Reporting Manager to assist with the production of the monthly management accountsCarrying out monthly bank reconciliations and clearing a backlog of balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with cash flow forecasting and ensuring that all income is posted accurately and in accordance with deadlinesRecording the accruals and prepayments, and dealing with month end reporting up to trial balanceAssisting with the preparation for the submission of VAT returns in line with set deadlinesExperience required:
At least three years’ experience working in an accounting roleMulti-sector experience including working within the Not-for-Profit sectorAble to communicate effectively with Senior ManagementExperience of preparing journals and month end reconciliationsRewards and Benefits:
