Umbrella Day rate: £400 per day
Location: Huddersfield, hybrid - mostly on site

Kirklees Council is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Growth and Regeneration team within Homes and Neighbourhoods. This is a pivotal role in driving forward our Improvement Programme, focusing on process improvement, compliance, assurance, and culture change. Day to Day of the role:
- Lead the analysis of current processes and support the service in process re-engineering, considering problems and solutions, user requirements, and finding efficiencies while prioritising the tenant’s experience.
- Play a key role in supporting the service to realise our ambitious technology roadmap, including system implementations across housing management, repairs, and asset management.
- Identify efficiencies and opportunities for innovation across our processes to ensure value for money while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Work closely with staff across Homes and Neighbourhoods, from senior managers to front-line delivery, as well as colleagues across the corporate centre, including Data and Insight, IT, and Transformation.
- Develop a whole-organisation approach to business analysis and share learning and good practice with other change teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within social housing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of process mapping and re-engineering.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder sessions and design process maps. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in implementing and embedding new processes within a service.
- Knowledge of fire/building safety within social housing is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site for process mapping workshops and stakeholder meetings.
