The role of the Investment Analyst supports the Investment Managers and Chief Investment Officer . The Investment Analyst reports to the Chief Investment Officer and the role is based in the company’s London office.

Purpose
To support Investment Managers and the CIO in researching and implementing investment solutions for client portfolios. The role offers the potential for progression to Investment Manager.
Responsibilities
- Research of open-ended, closed-ended and ETF funds, using qualitative and quantitative techniques incorporated into the firm’s investment process
- Screening and research AIM listed businesses through financial statement and industry analysis
- Active contribution to the firm’s proprietary global asset allocation process, collating and interpreting data sets
- Accurate and efficient submission of trades using the company’s custodial systems
- Assisting the financial planning team with research for existing and prospect clients
- Updating the team’s marketing collateral with investment content
Other ad-hoc and regular tasks, including regulatory reporting

Experience
- At least a year of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management, taking account of client outcomes. Attend and participate in all compliance related training activities and ensure any change to regulation or internal process is understood. Be aware and confident about company and personal KPIs and the impact on efficiency and process.
