We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to take a role in M&G Life to help support our Customer Journey ambitions.
- You will support identification, analysis and delivery small-mediume scale change to support the delivery of our end to end journey vision.
- You will work with the business and our strategic partners to analyse and understand business problems and opportunities based on an understanding of the desired business outcomes and strategic drivers.
- You will define your approach and plan for your business analysis work including stakeholder engagement and outcomes of analysis activity.
- This will also include working with the business to process map, gather, analyse, challenge and prioritise business requirements in relation to the business problem.
- You will provide oversight and assurance of analysis and solution design activity delivered by our strategic partners.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Helps the team to decide the best approach.
- Analyse current product/services and processes, and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these. Help to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to define outcomes and solutions.
- Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing products and services.
- Provide recommendations to solutions; work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits.

- Comfortable working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid projects, and understands the advantages and disadvantages of the different methodologies.

Experience

- Experience in setting up and facilitating workshops to understand business needs, gather requirements and ensure the business and user needs continue to be met by the proposed solution.
- Experience of Financial Services products and practices.
