Business Analyst – Data Governance  - Insurance - £500 p/d

A highly successfully global business with the FS/ Insurance sector are looking for a commercial Business Analyst to work across a Data Governance programme for them.

Please note – this is a 6 month contract initially – offering a daily rate of £500 p/d

Key responsibilities of this BA role will include:

Review the existing Data Governance framework and review the identified gaps against regulatory requirements

Develop and implement a plan to close gaps (either through completing the work yourself or through working with relevant stakeholders). This is likely to include:

Building data dictionary / directory (capturing data definitions, data quality, the data’s appropriateness, completeness and accuracy)

Ensuring documentation exist for the approach to collecting, updating & processing data (including assumptions made in the approach)

Develop a solution for business to easily access and update the data dictionary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Business Analyst role with excellent knowledge of Data Governance, data dictionary, and data quality.  The ability to understand and work with financial transaction is essential and prior experience within the insurance sector would be beneficial.
