The Digital Transformation programme will deliver fit for purpose enterprise-wide connected solutions with the associated change process. It will establish foundations for future growth and development by providing solutions across Professional Services and Academic disciplines that ensure the University can function in the most efficient and productive way, whilst ensuring that the student experience is second to none. A key project is replacing the existing HR and Payroll system and related operations with a new Software as a Service (SaaS) system and digitally enabled processes. We now have an opportunity for a Business Analyst to work alongside the Project Manager to deliver the system and new ways of working. You will be a significant contributor to delivering future ways of working for all HR & Payroll related activities, and shaping the future of our HR & Payroll functions. You will bring expertise in HR & Payroll, systems and change management to determine requirements, assess and design best practice processes, controls and ways of working, and deliver data-driven solutions. Required experience: Educated to degree or equivalent level or possessing relevant skills and qualifications. Proven Business Analyst experience, focussed on HR systems and processes Current knowledge of HR processes and principles, legal and regulatory requirements Expertise in HR and reporting, able to influence developments, resolve problems, be innovative and creative Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with relevant HR software and ERP systems.
