Overview
The purpose of this role will be to own and manage projects from idea, through analysis to recommendation and implementation. To have broad senior stakeholder management experience alongside strong analytical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gather business and client project requirements by capturing details on the context or problem, current state, desired state and objectives
- Create detailed documentation of customer and business requirements, including workflow and functionality
- Present detailed requirements to stakeholders to ensure agreement and buy in
- Ensure the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested
- Act as co-ordinator between the client, business and any other third parties concerning functionality for the duration of the project lifecycle
- Review and evaluate any proposed solutions ensuring alignment with business and customer requirements and make recommendations to stakeholders ensuring they are fully aware of key risks
- Responsible for ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within projects where related to requirements
- Assist in the production and validation of Test Plans
- To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects
- Where applicable, to adhere to Company processes with regards to FCA/FSC compliance and Treating Customers Fairly
- Share best practices and lessons with the wider team
- Proactively support the continuous improvement of project and business processes
Qualifications
- A proven track record in delivery and implementation
- Clear problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels (senior management and director level)
- Ability to generate ideas and follow them through to a conclusion
- Experienced in BA tools and techniques (such as writing user stories, requirement)
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Proficient in project management software and change platforms (MS Project, Jira, Azure etc.)
- 2+ years direct work experience in Business Analysis or similar role
- Desirable Qualification in Business Analyst
