A Halifax-based client in the Education sector is looking to recruit a Business Development and Events Executive!
You will be involved in and have hands-on experience with building new commercial relationships, whilst maintaining and enhancing existing relationships. You will be working closely with leaders within the commercial department to drive revenue streams and maximise opportunities from events.
About You:
- 2+ years' experience in a Business Development or similar role, with a focus on driving revenue streams.
- Event management experience within a commercial / partnership led business.
- Proactive in suggesting new ideas and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Confident communicator, who is comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve departmental targets.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Enhancing existing commercial relationships, with the end goal to increase revenue.
- Identifying and developing new commercial relationships, to increase revenue.
- Communicating effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning and managing a variety of events and increasing the profile of the events service.
- A variety of day-to-day tasks ensuring the commercial department is running effectively and smoothly.
Where You'll Be Based:
Your office will be based in Halifax and is commutable from surrounding areas. You will benefit from hybrid working capabilities (ideally 3 days in the office) and flexible working hours.
