Business Development Director - Dach

Location: Germany, Home Based
Salary: €95,000 Base + Excellent Commission

We are searching for a new Business Development Director who will be responsible for selling information and data integration solutions to customers across the DACH region.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will proactively target pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, finance, and engineering companies to drive sales within the region, increase the company’s presence in the area, and build essential targeted partnerships/relationships.

You will also help to develop the marketing and sales strategy and execute against sales and partnership goals for government entities.

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated Business Development, sales, and marketing experience in the German region
• Proven track record in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing 6-7 figure sales
• Experience selling into large and mid-size corporations, particularly corporations with heavy research and development investment
• Exceptional relationship-building, and presentation skills required
• Strong leadership presence and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of content licensing in the corporate information management environment is a plus
• Self-driven; able to work independently; excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Multilingual, fluent in German and English
