As an agency they are specialists in brand, creative, media, web development, social, research, SEO and more, working with well known brands across leisure, entertainment, consumer durables and FMCG.

Description

As the Business Development Director you will own the prospect journey from initial chat, through nurture,
taking it through to a qualified opportunity to hand over to the relevant agency strategy team.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the sales process
  • Strategically profile and target clients, leveraging the agency's brands, case studies, and expertise.
  • Engage prospects with tailored communications, aligning our services with their needs.
  • Secure and conduct introductory meetings, projecting a compelling vision of collaboration.
  • Nourish prospects with thought leadership and industry insights to add substantial value.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities, equipping agency pitch teams with comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and collaborate with agency teams to ensure optimal outreach.
  • Drive process enhancements and share insights from lost deals.

Profile

The successful applicant will have substantial experience within the integrated marketing agency industry within the UK:

  • Proven track record in building robust opportunity pipelines.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and new business targets.
  • Proficient use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable with setting and following repeatable processes.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Natural collaborator capable of uniting diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is advantageous.
  • Agency experience in Performance Media or Insight/Research is desirable.
