Main Duties as Business Development Director will include:

• Handle pre-qualified leads working with the BD team
• Conduct face-to-face client meetings.
• Answer client queries and provide relevant information to maximise sales potential.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company processes
• Stay up to date with industry and company trends and developments.
• Attend regular networking events, actively engage in the industry, and meet with technology partners.
• Work closely with our partnership managers at Shopify, Magento and Big Commerce to maintain a strong relationship.
• Ensure monthly sales targets are met.
• Grow and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Negotiate and close new business opportunities.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have strong senior level Business Development experience
• Ideally have knowledge of ecommerce - Shopify, Magento or eCommerce or similar
• Passionate about digital marketing and an understanding of web development lifecycles would be beneficial
• Have an excellent and demonstrable sales record, dealing with blue chip clients would be a distinct advantage
• Be commercially aware with an ability to maximize opportunities.
• Have excellent communication and negotiation skills and will be articulate with a high standard of written English and presentation skills.
• Have an ability to manage workload and priorities.
• Be motivational and inspire trust, confidence and enthusiasm.
• Be polished, professional and sophisticated.
• Have the maturity and gravitas to deal with and influence senior decision makers.
