• We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our friendly team in Plymouth, the applicant will be Sales focused and experienced in making outbound calls to an existing & new customer base.
• This role is office based and will keep you busy, interacting with existing customers every day and working as an integral part of the South West sales team. You will work alongside the telesales and area sales team to maximise and increase business across the South West.
• Reporting into the Telesales Manager, working towards set monthly targets your main responsibility will be to focus on the development and growth of our existing customer base. Alongside this you will be responsible for the win back of lost business.
• You will be confident at negotiating pricing and managing prices on weekly basis to ensure growth in the area.
• You will need to be self-motivated and able to manage your time and workload effectively.
You will be speaking to an existing client base, providing an excellent service, support and maximising any opportunities to up-sell whilst managing their expectations.
To be a successful candidate for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
• A strong background in outbound sales calling
• Previous business to business sales experience is beneficial
• Ability to influence and support customers
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with people at all levels of seniority
• Proven record of working towards and achieving sales targets
• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
