We are actively recruiting for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated Business Development Executive on behalf of our established client situated in Farnham, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international physical agricultural Commodity Broking company. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Commodity Broking and Operation teams in order to further develop existing and new business opportunities. This is an international client facing role which will require occasional travel at short notice, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and initiate contacts with new business clients. In return you will receive full training and career development from the Senior Management Team, including industry accredited qualifications. 9am - 18:00hrs Monday - Friday Parking Provided
Salary :- £25,000.00-£35,000.00 p.a. + BONUS
Duties :-
Develop new business leads and initiate contact with new clients via telephone/email
Prepare contract, trade, shipping terms and documentation - training provided
Liaise closely with Commodity & Operation Teams
Negotiation
Contract execution, Operations
Dispute resolution
· Shadow brokers and their interaction with clients.
· Collate, analyse and report information to assist with the business
Understanding of the commodity, origins, markets and trade flows
· Perform analysis on market sectors for management
Desired Qualifications/Experience
· Proven Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience
· Strong IT knowledge
· Required: GCSE's in English language and Mathematics
Useful knowledge :- International Current Affairs and Regional Geography
An understanding of Economics.
Languages advantageous : Mandarin, Spanish, French, Arabic.
