Business Development Executive
Salary: £26k - £28k + uncapped bonus
Location: Hove
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-17.00pm
Do you want to work for a highly professional and well-established organisation that specialises predominantly in insurance but also other areas within business solutions. This role will be responsible for prospecting and generating new sales leads of the New Business Executives.
You will already have a proven background within Business Development via the phone, be able to builds strong business relationships and wok to sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your prospect list via phone and email.
- Contacting clients, investigating and researching prospects and updating the CRM system.
- Obtaining and confirming the prospects renewal dates and update to diarise call backs and future development dates.
- Create quote appointments for the New Business Executives.
- Deliver leads for the Business Solution team, dealing with energy, telecoms, IT, employee benefits, recruitment, business supplies, health protection, and wealth management.
- Attend new business team meetings.
- Ad-hoc project support
- Follow FCA, statutory and company legislation.
- Work to strict income and appointment targets.

- Great communication and relationship building skills.
- Proven Business Development background and thrive in a target driven environment.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and mange your own workload effectively.
- Natural rapport builder with a consultative sales approach.
- Driven, proactive and professional.
- Great IT skills inclusive of Microsoft and using in-house CRM systems.
