The company are in a great period of growth and as such they are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to assist with their growth plans. As a Business Development Executive, you will be an integral part of the marketing team, responsible for generating enquiries/appointments through phone follow up/outreach. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanour, and the ability to engage potential clients over the phone. The ideal candidate will have a B2B selling, appointment setting background - the business are flexible on Full or Part time hours.
[ The role ]
- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to generate interest in the accounting firm's services.
- Identify decision-makers within target organizations and gather relevant information for follow-up.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of the firm and address any initial queries or concerns.
- Schedule appointments for the sales team to further discuss the firm's services and offerings.
- Maintain an organized schedule of appointments and follow-up activities.
- Update and maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and feedback in the CRM system.
- Continuously enhance the prospect database for targeted outreach.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine and optimize telemarketing scripts.
- Tailor scripts to effectively communicate the firm's key messages and unique selling points.
- Provide regular feedback to the sales team regarding client responses, market trends, and potential areas for improvement.
- Generate reports on call activities, appointments secured, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a telemarketer or in a similar outbound calling role.
- Additional education or training in sales or marketing is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to handle objections and effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills.
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
