Business Development Executive

My retained client is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their site in Lincolnshire (based in Coningsby). You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuously improving.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for dealing with customer enquiries, primarily by telephone and through email, utilising and keeping the internal CRM up-to-date and working closely with the sales team to fulfil orders and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Make and receive regular telephone calls to qualify leads, arrange meetings and follow up sales opportunities
• Setting up companies, contacts, opportunities, and projects on internal system
• Chasing issued proposals and help manage the sales process, monitor tasks and follow up on client meetings
• Monitoring the online chat, enquiries inbox and general inbox to ensure all enquiries are correctly picked up
• Liaising between the sales team and the reports team during project delivery and keeping our clients informed about progress
• Issuing invoices, processing payments, and keeping records of orders
• Supporting the team's performance and against agreed KPIs
• Focus on delivering an increase in new clients, alongside delivering repeat business from our existing accounts

Your Skills & Experience:

• Previous Sales experience in a B2B sales environment is advantageous, however this role could also be suitable for a relatively inexperienced sales executive determined to progress further
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Enthusiastic and willing, with a strong team player attitude
• Good administration and organisation skills to coordinate own time
• Confidence to learn and develop a technical knowledge to understand the manufacturing industry
