Our client is a forward-thinking finance company that arranges finance for businesses and is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their growing team. Based in Brindleyplace, Birmingham the BDE would be joining a small but growing business that rewards well and offers a fun and energetic working environment and excellent career development opportunities for the right person. The role offers a basic salary £23-£24k plus uncapped commission.
It's not all about experience - our client is very much looking for the commitment and attitude of the right person who wants to grow with the business on a long-term basis.
The successful BDE will be required to:
- Make outbound sales calls to potential clients to generate leads and gather information. The majority of calls will be warm leads.
- Diligently follow up to the calls with personal emails and WhatsApp messages (company number).
- Build a pipeline and maintain contact with customers.
- Follow up with customers that have shown interest in marketing emails.
- Assist with putting together credit proposals and other associated administrative tasks.
- Be thorough, hardworking, diligent, and reliable.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a business-to-business telesales/telemarketing/sales role.
- Ambition and desire to succeed and earn well!
- A "can do", flexible attitude - someone who has an operational mindset and will show initiative to ensure smooth running of the business.
- A determined, resilient and persistent nature.
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- A desire to be in a phone-based role.

- Good administrative skills, with the desire to complete paperwork associated with each sale.
Working hours and Benefits package:
- Basic of between £23 - 24k + £1k guaranteed commission paid over the first 2 months (if business brought in during this period you will be paid on top)
- Uncapped commission, anticipated at being £6k in the first year but could easily be more the better you are.

- Working hours are Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch or 08:30 - 17:30 with a 2 hour break in the middle of the day where you can have lunch & go to the gym. Friday 9:00 - 15:30 with a 30-minute lunch.
- Development to become a Finance Broker for the right person (realistic time frame 18 months - 2 years), where earning potential can reach £40k+ uncapped.
