DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY
UP TO £90,000 pa (DOE) + BENEFITS
CAMBRIDGE | HYBRID
Take what you think you know about consulting and rip up the rule book!
Do you have a growth mindset? Are you a technologist? Are you comfortable speaking to both senior management and engineers? And do you have a decent network in MedTech?
How would you like to work with some of the brightest people from the consultancy scene who’ve decided enough is enough – it’s time to show the big boys how it’s done?!
Take the literal lead on Business Development with this fast-growing Cambridge company in their Medical Device sector. They have a phenomenal pipeline of projects already – but need your expertise to help identify and win new revenue.
So, aside from personal and professional growth, what can you expect?
OK – so they can’t match the bigger salary packages of the big players in the game. BUT – give it a few years, and that won’t matter.
You’ll be replacing your manager. THAT’s the plan.
You’ll be spearheading strategy and implementing their roadmap for the development of their presence and service capability within targeted medical sectors. You’ll drive and support the winning of new business. You’ll build and nurture long-term relationships with clients. You’ll also have the chance to build and manage a team to win large contracts, further down the line.
It’s what you expect from a BD position such as this. But what else can you expect?
Based in the beautiful Cambridge countryside, you’ll be a part of an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and highly intelligent technical team working on and supporting end-to-end Medical Device projects.
The key here is that you have high-level technical and industry experience and knowledge within the medical device space. It’s essential you have a track record in planning and executing a really compelling commercial strategy for growth – including taking new and relevant service offerings to market.
As you can probably tell, there will be a need for international travel, as well as across the UK.
