About the job
Due to market opportunity, we are delighted to be recruiting a Business Development Manager to support with the implementation of our growth strategy.
We are open to Full-Time and Part-Time Applicants.
As the sole Business Development Manager, you will have a vast market to contact and the opportunity to reach out to all relevant business and capitalise on the market share. You will also have an established client portfolio to build on.
The successful applicant will be responsible for introducing products and services, primarily into Oil and Gas, Offshore Renewable and Marine industries.
The Business Development Manager will primarily be responsible for selling our products and services to new and existing customers within specific accounts. This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers, to position how ICE (UK) Ltd.’s products and services can be of value.
We are looking for an outgoing, driven person with a passion for Business Development and sales, who will contribute towards the continued acceleration of our growth. This role is critical to continuing the commercial success and scale of the business. This is a quota carrying role, working across multiple sectors and with customers ranging from SME to global Enterprise organisations.
The primary focus of the Business Development Manager is to be responsible for targeting new business and growing key assigned accounts. You will become a key player in the commercial team, contributing towards the company’s growth and scale.
Our headquarters are in Aberdeen, Scotland and we are looking for someone to work with our local team and client base, while also willing to travel to clients on a national and international basis when required.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in Sales and/or Business Development Role.
- Ability to work in both short and long sales cycles.
- Experience in tracking sales pipeline and activity within a CRM – full training on sales process will be provided.
- A willingness to attend events, exhibitions and to undertake occasional travel.
