Business Development Manager

Macgregor Black are partnering with an award-winning UK based drinks company on the search for a Business Development Manager. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Southeast London.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the sales pipeline, providing regular updates on progress to the Head of Sales to ensure transparency and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Cultivating relationships with existing accounts within the foodservice sector, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded to foster long-term partnerships.
- Actively engaging in the acquisition of new business opportunities through strategic pitching and adept negotiation of contracts, leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence to drive growth.
- Collaborating cross functionally to orchestrate seamless and successful product launches, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and operational excellence is achieved throughout the process.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated track record of success in field sales, backed by 3 years of experience primarily within the wholesale or foodservice sector.
- Collaborative team player, actively contributing to team dynamics and decision-making processes.
- Proven ability to surpass targets and metrics, consistently achieving both individual and team goals.
- Self-motivated and proactive, possessing strong communication skills and a confident demeanour.
