Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure invoice finance facilities, negotiating terms within the limit of £2 million.
- Attend meetings with potential clients to comprehensively grasp their business and assess suitability for funding.
- Independently create and cultivate new business opportunities through self-generated leads.
- Oversee the progression of leads to deals, collaborating closely with the Operations team to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to client.
- Develop comprehensive new business proposals, encompassing the analysis of financial and survey data, for presentation to the credit committee.
- Attending events for networking and sales promotion, actively contributing to the development of brand awareness in the designated region.
- Operate in accordance with the company's data protection policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the company's compliance policies relevant to the role.
- Follow the company's HR policies and guidelines as outlined in the company handbook.
- Address all customer matters efficiently, ensuring fairness and consistency in line with the company's cultural values.
Expectations & Requirements:
- Possess over 5 years of experience in the Invoice Finance sector, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and proficiency.
- Showcased a successful sales career in financial services, with a background of over 3 years in achieving sales targets.
- Excel in interpersonal skills, fostering effective communication and collaboration with clients and team members.
- Demonstrate adept negotiation skills, essential for securing favorable terms in financial transactions.
- Exhibit a high level of competence in utilizing computer systems and applications relevant to the financial services industry.
- Capable of working independently and proactively to accomplish set targets, leveraging personal initiative to drive success.
- Possess a sound understanding of financial accounts and cashflows, enabling informed decision-making in the financial services domain.
