Our client with diverse interests in electronic solutions for both emergent and established technology markets, are seeking a Business Development Manager in the Manchester area.
The company has invested in a number of business improvements within its operations to enable it to maximise its growth potential and is now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to leverage this growth

The Business Development Manager, in the Manchester area, will focus on the growth of the business by extending the reach of their products and services, identifying new sales leads and building strong client relationships.
The role will involve UK travel, particularly in the North of England.

Responsibilities will also include:

• Working closely with the site Managing Director and Holdings PLC Directors to develop a sales strategy annual new business budgets.


• Understanding the needs and wants of the Tier 1 and 2 markets and tailor the approach to suit the occasion, building effective client relationships.


• Scope new business leads and opportunities in the Tier 1 and 2 markets.


• Receiving client project briefs and translate into an internal brief for action via Office 365 suite for internal communications and HubSpot for external client communications.


• Leading the tender response process for new enquiries across all markets.


• Attending weekly Sales meetings with the sales team and other key colleagues.


• Provide sales updates at Bi-Monthly site board meetings.

The Business Development Manager, in the Manchester area, will have experience in sales and new business generation, with demonstrated success, preferably in the Contract Electronic Manufacturing or distributor B2B sector and will have a detailed understanding of the CEM market including a reasonable technical understanding.
