The role of Business Development Manager
Using your influential personality, you will be focussing on opening up client relationships and generating new leads and closing business.
Your duties will include:
* Working closely with internal stakeholders and other departments to plan and execute Business Development initiatives
* Creating a strategy for converting opportunities into business
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
* Prepare and present business proposals and presentations to clients
* Attend networking and sponsorship events and oversee the delivery of major corporate events
* Analyse market trends
* Traveling to meetings and events around the region
To be successful in the Business Development Manager role you will have:
* A minimum of 5 years' previous Business Development experience
* A background in professional services is essential
* A successful proven track record in converting business opportunities
* Possess strong negotiation skills
* Be confident in giving presentations
* Have an influential personality to build and nurture relationships
* Be a strategic thinker
* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
* You must have high standards
* Able to manage your own time effectively
* Access to your own vehicle is required
The Package for the Business Development Manager role:
* A basic salary of c.£65,000 per annum
