REClifts is now working with a well-established automatic door company that is on the lookout for a proven Business Development Manager . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background in automatic doors, lifts, escalators, travellators, or other relevant engineering product field sales experience.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Sales against set sales targets.
- Maximise sales opportunities / Develop customer relationships
- Generating and building upon sales leads (including new Business Development).
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure sales success.
- Analyse tenders and technical inquiries.
- Maximise sales opportunities / Develop customer relationships
- Carry out detailed site surveys / Compile quotes.
- Sales analysis including forecasting and pipeline management.
- Follow up and ensure closing of sales opportunities,
Ideal Business Development Manager Candidate
- Full driving license & willingness to travel - Essential
- A proven sales record achieved from new sales and repeat business.
- An electrical or mechanical qualification and or previous experience - Desirable
- Technical knowledge of either automatic or industrial doors and associated equipment, passenger lifts, travellators, escalators etc - Essential
