We are a leading field marketing agency, representing some of the biggest brand names out there and we have a dynamic role available within our Head Office Sales & Marketing team.
We are looking for a Business DevelopmentManager who is tenacious and results driven!

In return for joining us as a Business Development Manager we can offer you a competitive salary of £50,000 p.a. + Car allowance + benefits.
Location: Field Sales Solutions Head Office – Thame, Oxfordshire
Hybrid model working – role requires 2 to 3 days office attendance weekly.
As a Business Development Managerwithin the Sales & Marketing team your principal duties will be the identification, development and progression of new business opportunities and the subsequent “wins” of profitable tactical client operations to the business. Building a strong network and pipeline of clients, selling in our services and over time you will help nurture these clients into long term relationships. Your ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable strategies will be critical to your success.
What will you be doing as ourBusiness Development Manager?
- Your goal - to deliver more than £1m new business in each financial year. Developing and implementing a contact strategy with all key decision makers within FMCG and other business sectors, those companies who have a need for Field Marketing Services Developing strong network within the target companies. Identifying innovative ways of targeting companies in new target sectors working with group companies including digital services. Ensuring clear updates on the pipeline of new business is delivered to the Commercial Sales Director and other key stakeholders. Working closely with the operational delivery team ensuring we deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Ensuring opportunities for Marvesting are shared with the Commercial Sales Director for wider group discussion. Sourcing, researching and developing potential new clients via cold calling, email, networking events and targeted campaigns to attract and educate them of Field Sales Solutions and our service offerings. Working closely with the Marketing function to deliver strong customer attraction campaigns. Supporting the department with the delivery of key business pitches/tenders ensuring their delivery within the required timeframes.
What will you need to be our Business DevelopmentManager?
- Experience contacting and seeking new business contacts/leads. Experience researching and implementing targeted sales campaigns and communication. Ability to build strong relationships with clients. Experience working to sales targets. Experience working with multiple clients. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and document sales solutions offerings. A minimum 1 years’ experience within a new business sales environment. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to motivate yourself, being able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
