In this pivotal role, you'll be managing a small team and be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, propelling our growth across the bustling markets of the UK, Europe, US and beyond. Your mission? To strategically broaden our customer base, tapping into new and exciting business opportunities with enthusiasm and savvy.

While familiarity with the food supplement industry is a plus, we’re really searching for someone who brings the perfect blend of skill, experience, and a zest for innovation. Duties:

Business Development:

  • Hunt down exciting new client opportunities and explore uncharted markets.
  • Team up with our Sales Director and the rest of the sales team to craft campaigns that dazzle and deliver.

Business Trips:

  • Pack your bags! You’ll be jet-setting around Europe and beyond from time-to-time, forging new paths and striking deals.

Revenue Growth and Sales Mastery:

  • Take the lead on turbocharging our sales, actively seeking out new opportunities.
  • Build robust relationships with clients, becoming their trusted partner and advisor.
  • Turn negotiations into an art form to ensure optimal profitability.

Market Research:

  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the industry. Be in the know on the latest trends, the moves of our competitors, and the overall market vibe.
  • Hit the ground running at top industry conferences and vibrant events! Build dynamic partnerships and capture the pulse of emerging trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation.

Customer Onboarding, Satisfaction and Retention:

  • Deliver stellar service that keeps clients smiling all through their journey with us.
  • Be the rapid-response team to client queries and concerns, ensuring they always feel valued.
  • Onboard and nurture lasting bonds with clients, ensuring repeat business.

Mastering Our Products and Market Dynamics:

  • Gain a deep knowledge of our product lines and a keen insight into the competitive terrain, ensuring we stay ahead in the industry.

Reporting and Data Analysis

  • Take center stage with your insights as you prepare and present detailed reports to the Sales Director. Dive into the thrill of analysis and strategy, transforming knowledge and data into compelling stories that captivate and influence. This is your chance to shine in the spotlight, showcasing your findings and recommendations that could shape the future direction of our sales strategies. Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Proven experience in Business Development, sales, or related roles. It is advantageous to have a background in the food supplement or pharmaceutical industry.
  • CommunicationSkills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • NegotiationSkills: Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Driving License: Essential

Benefits:

  • Salary £50,000 +
  • Performance-driven monthly bonus structure
  • Company Car available
  • Monday-Friday 9am-5.15pm with 1 hour lunch break
  • 20 Days annual leave + bank holidays plus 1 additional day of annual leave accrued with each year of service up to 25 days
  • Permanent contract
  • Hybrid working following a successful probation period
