Job Description:
We are supporting a growing business in their search for an experienced Commercial Sales Executive / BDM.
The role
As a Commercial Sales Executive / BD, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial contract process, from Business Development and tender processes to contract completion.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance aswell as managing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial renewables sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to win contracts and expand our market presence.
- Lead and coordinate the tender process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for tender submissions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local councils, housing developers, and other key stakeholders on a national scale.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
- Support the business in obtaining relevant ISO certifications and accreditations.
- Ensure that projects adhere to the highest quality standards and meet all regulatory requirements.
The Candidate
- Proven experience in commercial contract management, with a preference of focus on the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of tender processes, procurement, and quality management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and accreditation processes is a bonus.
