As the Business Development Manager with our client, the key purpose of this position is to ensure the continued success and growth of Education Business by developing and implementing strategies to retain their existing clients.

Job Description

In this role, you will develop and implement retention strategies to ensure the continued satisfaction of our existing clients.

You will also be a key player in helping the wider Commercial Team to oversee and manage end to end Bid Management and submission.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure the continued satisfaction of our existing clients
• ​Conduct regular client reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and address any issues or concerns
• ​Manage end to end Bid Management and submission
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless client experience
• ​Analyse retention data and provide actionable insights to improve client retention rates
• ​Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Experience in a catering role (Education/ FM/ Healthcare/ Defence)
• Strong results from related commercial or Business Development functions e.g. having ensured substantial growth and improved profitability
• Strong knowledge about service industry within Central Government and ideally further knowledge of Private and Public Sector
• Ability to work successfully on own and within a wider team
• Proven track record in successfully converting business and solutioning bids to win, through creative and innovative thinking and based on a solid analysis of customer needs
