Our high-profile charity client, committed to improving the health and wellbeing of their local community, is looking to appoint an experienced B2B salesperson. The organisation promotes lifelong learning, access to employment and healthier living and counts several instantly recognisable, locally headquartered, corporates among its committed supporters. They now seek an individual to attract corporate sponsorship from the wider SME business community.
As Business Development Manager, you will:
- Promote corporate sponsorship opportunities to local businesses
- Fundraise and secure charitable donations
- Seek out new opportunities via cold calling, networking and direct targeting
- Create bespoke sponsorship packages
- Contribute copy for sponsor newsletters
- Actively manage the portfolio of donors
As Business Development Manager, you will need:
- A genuine empathy with the charity’s core aims
- A proven track record in B2B sales
- Familiarity with the business community across South Tyneside, Wearside and County Durham
- Experience selling at director/business-owner level
