Business Development Manager – FMCG

Our client, a leading specialist in the preparation and supply of top–quality fresh and pre–prepared vegetables to the restaurant trade, is seeking a results–driven Business Development Manager/Sales Manager/ to spearhead growth in the London area.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development: Identify and nurture new B2B opportunities, within the hospitality sector, showcasing commercial acumen.
Sales Leadership: Develop and implement plans to expand the customer base, exceeding sales targets and fostering key partnerships.
Innovative Initiatives: Spearhead new sales programs to capture key demographics, contributing to continuous success.
Effective Communication: Provide daily reports and VOC data (Voice of the customer), collaborating with the leadership team.
You Must Have:
5 years+ in sales, demonstrating expertise in commercial and strategic planning.
Leadership Skills: previous experience in managing and inspiring sales teams
Customer Focus: Dedication to outstanding customer service and building enduring client relations.
Proven experience in Business Development strategies and success
Sales experience within the FMCG sector (ideally food/fresh produce or beverage)
