Our client is an established, successful and rapidly growing Agri Supplies business within their niche sector. Due to ongoing expansion, a superb opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, determined and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team
Working directly with the MD, the successful candidate will play a key role in the launch of a new product as well as taking day to day responsibility for the sales and account management of the company product range.
KEY DUTIES
·Manage, win and grow key accounts throughout Northern Ireland and R.O.I.
·Build and maintain key relationships with Decision Makers across a variety of customer sectors
·Visit both new and existing customers on a regular basis throughout NI, ROI and GB to ensure that all potential sales revenue is maximised
·Presenting quotes/tenders to customers and following up as required
·Maintaining after sales contact to ensure complete customer satisfaction
·Update customers with regards to new products on a regular basis
·Travel throughout N.I and occasionally to R.O.I and UK as required
·To work closely with the marketing executive in order to successfully launch their new product range to the market
·To be involved in public relations and the promotion of the Company in a proactive and positive manner.
·Contact potential customers and follow up on any queries, quotation requests etc
·Identify, profile, analyses and implement new sales opportunities in NI, ROI & GB marketplace.
·Actively participate in regular sales and marketing meetings providing an update on your performance against targets;
THE PERSON
·A minimum of 2-3 years sales and marketing experience, ideally within the agri, food or related sectors although consideration will also be given to exceptional candidates from other sectors
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·Looking to build a long term career with the opportunity for progression
·Possesses the energy, enthusiasm and ability to work within an environment that requires a hands-on approach.
·Confident in their ability to advise the Directors on marketing ideas and strategies
·I.T. literate
SALARY
A basic salary within the range £35k-£40k per annum (based on level of experience) will be on offer to the successful candidate.
A company vehicle will also be provided.
In addition, there will be the opportunity for a commission/bonus scheme within an agreed time frame
