About the Company:Finnmark Sauna is the UK's leading provider of luxury Sauna, Steam, Spa, and Wellness Products and services. We specialize in crafting bespoke sauna experiences for both residential and commercial clients, combining innovative design with exceptional craftsmanship to create spaces of relaxation and rejuvenation.

The business continues to go from strength to strength, with a constant flow of inbound opportunities. As a result, we’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join as a Sauna Design Consultant, managing sales opportunities from start to finish and closing high-value bespoke sauna opps.

This role is a lower volume, higher value sell. It will involve travel and face-to-face meetings with higher net-worth clients, architects, designers and main contractors. This role will come with a travel (mileage) budget which may move to a company electric vehicle after passing probation. Ideally, you’ll have a proven track record in high-end luxury project sales, such as bespoke kitchens, property development/construction, interior design, or similar.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process from initial qualification to close.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls with prospects interested in our bespoke sauna & installation services in order to qualify these opportunities and guide them through the buying journey.
  • Once qualified, commence Sauna Design consultations in order to understand the clients space, requirements, budgets, and preferred design & style.
  • Attend site visits, undertaking site surveys and liaise with key stakeholders both internally and externally to correctly spec the project.
  • Liaise with our in-house design teams to create your clients perfect design brief in order to win the sale and deliver on your clients overall vision.
  • Present the finished design proposals with costings to prospective clients, followed by letter of intent and contract documents ensuring a watertight sale and exceptional service start to finish.
  • Ensuring billing dates are met and invoices paid promptly. Following up with clients as required.
  • Maintain detailed project notes and ensure projects progress through the pipeline. Managing client's expectations on design times, scheduling installation windows and more.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, the client, specifier or main contractor, the management team at Finnmark and our installation teams to ensure a smooth project installation.
  • Following up with the client on completion to ensure they are happy, providing a thorough handover and prompting for a review & referral if applicable.
  • Although this role is predominantly inbound sales opps, we will expect you to conduct a small amount of outbound hunting when required. Therefore prospecting ability will be required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar design-led consultative sales role.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets a quarterly basis.
  • Ability to follow technical sales processes for continuity but has the ability to get creative and think outside the box where required for the good of the deal.
  • Must be an active listener and able to take accurate and detailed notes during meetings.
  • Must take care in understanding costings and liaising with technical teams due to the complex nature of the products & projects at hand.
  • Experienced working within sales CRM systems and the ability to take detailed notes.
  • Open to coaching and constructive feedback with the ability to take on board and implement accordingly.
  • Clear and considered communicator both verbally and written, alongside Impeccable attention to detail.
  • UK driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for regular business mileage. This role will progress to a company electric vehicle post-probation.
  • Willingness to visit our HQ near Durham at least bi-monthly.
  • Enthusiastic about our business and products, with an interest in the wellness industry.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in a similar industry such as bespoke kitchen design, property development, interior design etc.
  • Located in or around London, Southeast (Preferably Home Counties)

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per year, OTE £100k+ (uncapped) Tiered and ratchetted target system rather than a threshold target meaning dry (no commission) months are very unlikely.
