Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager at Justintime Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward by identifying new opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and catalysing revenue growth across our diverse portfolio of services. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including care homes, mental health institutions, private individuals, councils, NHS, hospitals, and other relevant entities. By leveraging your expertise in Business Development, you will contribute to expanding our client base and enhancing our brand presence in the healthcare sector.

Main Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, you need a solid sales background, proven by your ability to bring in new business and boost revenue. You should understand the sales process well and be great at finding and seizing new sales opportunities. Your experience should show that you can keep existing clients happy and grow revenue from them. It's also important to be good at managing projects, making plans, and getting things done on time.

Building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders is key. You should know how important teamwork and communication are in making sales happen, and you should naturally connect with people. Your main job will involve nurturing relationships with important stakeholders like care homes, mental health institutions, the NHS, hospitals, and others. Being good at communication and knowing how to use CRM systems to keep track of sales activities is important too. With your experience, knowledge of the industry, and ability to build relationships, you'll help the company grow its sales and succeed.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Experience in handling tenders and bid writing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions, create compelling proposals and presentations and tailor offerings to meet client needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Business Development initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Maintain a strong network of industry contacts to facilitate Business Development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience of 5 years in the healthcare recruitment, health and social care industries is a plus. Relevant qualifications or certifications in health and social care, business administration, marketing and related field.
  • Proven track record of success in Business Development, sales, or related roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on care homes, domiciliary care, mental health institutions, and NHS/hospitals.
  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare landscape, including regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is desirable.
