Are you an experienced Business Development professional in the UK Financial Services Sector, with a passion for building meaningful and long-lasting business relationships?Our client, an internationally acclaimed professional membership association, is now hiring for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This role offers:
- Permanent/full time hours (35 per week)
- Contracted out of our client's central London office, but with hybrid flex to work from home circa 3 days a week (when not out on client meetings)
- £56,810 per annum - fixed starting salary + Excellent benefits including performance related bonus.
The Role
The main purpose of this role is deliver our client's Business Development strategy for employers in the UK. This includes:
- 1st 6 months you will be developing engagement with current employers, then expanded to current, live employers - Supporting the delivery of the UK market plan
- Identifying and engaging with potential employers
- Understanding members needs and enhancing member value
- Creating a sustainable pipeline of new members in the region
- Developing relationships with senior decision-makers
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing account plans for employers
- Stakeholder mapping and lead engagement
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong customer influencing skills in a professional Financial services - Must have a strong working knowledge of the financial industry - Big 4 background OR Large accountancy practice
- B2B and B2C relationship / account management experience
- Ability to interact and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to give excellent presentations, tailored to the relevant audience
- Experience in a member service organisation or professional certification body
