About the role
Certitude’s Business Development function focuses on the development and delivery of our strategic approach to increasing the support we provide to people who have learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs.
The Business Development Researcher is part of the team responsible for the successful implementation of Certitude’s Growth and Development Strategy which supports the delivery of our organisational strategy. The role of the Business Development Researcher is to enable a comprehensive understanding of funders’ priorities, current landscapes across London boroughs and the health and social care sector more widely.
Duties will include:
- Undertaking secondary research and analysis to develop strategic intelligence of emerging priorities for funders, commissioners, families and self-payers.
- Assisting in the research and presentation of market mapping exercises.
- Conducting research ahead of Business Development and new business meetings.
- Ensuring that research and data are collated and organised to ensure quality of information.
About you
To be a Business Development Researcher at Certitude, the following are essential:
- Experience in undertaking secondary research, information gathering and data analysing.
- Experience in undertaking small scale primary research such as interviewing and creating surveys.
- Experience in communication with people at all levels including local government and other external agencies.
- Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy.
