Business Development Sales Manager

Due to sustained growth, Altro Ireland have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Sales Manager to join our friendly sales team based in the Republic of Ireland. As we expand, we re on the look out for a results-driven, customer focused and enthusiastic sales professional. This is a full time, permanent, home-based position and the successful candidate will ideally be based in Dublin or surrounding areas and be within a reasonable commuting distance to perform all duties and meet the needs of the organisation. The territory currently covers the Republic of Ireland.

So as a Business Development Sales Manager, what will you be doing? Working collaboratively alongside your colleagues who focus on the specification customer base, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with the contractors & distributors on the territory.

Updating a CRM system on a daily basis, you will record daily activity and communicate it within defined time scales.

You will participate in promotional activities, as well as attend training days, seminars, and exhibitions.

Regular travel across the Republic of Ireland will be required as well as occasional travel to the UK.

Who are we looking for? Extensive sales / key account management experience is essential. We need someone with excellent communication skills who would describe themselves as driven and a team player. Relevant industry and product knowledge isn t essential but experience of dealing with distributors and contractors within the construction industry would be highly advantageous.
