Tate are working with an established housing association based in Colindale and they are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team and hit the ground running. Key Accountabilities
Performance and other reporting
- Designing streamlined and improved performance, compliance and business reporting.
- Completing data returns to relevant government bodies.
- Leading on defining clear business-critical indicators, ensuring that definitions are clear and that processes produce accurate data.
- Producing accurate data for internal reporting to operational performance meetings and to boards.
Data integrity and quality
Taking a leading and active role in preventing, identifying and resolving critical data quality/ integrity issues, prioritised by business risk. This will involve taking forward identified priorities around the Knowledge & Information Management recommendations.
Analysis and insight
Supporting services across the company to deliver improved customer and business outcomes through a proactive approach to analysis and insight, enabling timely and effective strategic and operational decision-making and planning.
Essential skills and knowledge:
- A data management and insight specialist who can: engineer data processes; source, access and manipulate data; integrate and extract insights from large and dispersed datasets; and translate insights into clear and precise findings to inform business strategy
- Knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL, and front-end reporting tools such as PowerBI.
- Knowledge of data governance, data modelling, and data architecture
- The ability to identify trends, account for variances and highlight exceptions, risks and opportunities for the business and to consider challenges and be creative about solutions in the context of strategic goals and operational delivery.
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills with experience of managing project and business priorities in a complex and high-demand environment.
- The effective ability to coach junior colleagues, and to matrix-manage colleagues in other teams to deliver agreed improvements in a collaborative way
