This role is Hybrid Working (3 Days in Belfast City Centre (State of the Art Office) + 2 days Working From Home)
This is a Monday - Friday position. This will initially be a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities
You will be principally responsible for coordinating the firm’s global approach to legal directories. Specifically, this will cover management of our contractual agreement with Chambers, including maintenance of all lawyer and department profiles, management of the inbox and dealing with internal queries. You will also maintain firmwide guidance and best practice to support the submission process and identifying synergies and efficiencies to streamline our approach...
You will also have operational delivery and line management responsibilities within the Belfast Marketing team, which will include recruitment, onboarding and training. With a strong focus on people management and stakeholder management, you will build very strong working relationships and to collaborate on service delivery, as well as resourcing and talent management. It is a significant requirement of the role to develop the capabilities of the team and to maximise the potential of individuals.
Additionally, this role will include:
- Coordinating the firm’s global approach to legal directories, including management of our contractual agreements, maintaining lawyer and department profiles, dealing with queries and delivering best practice guidance and support.
- Operational and line management responsibilities, in order to deliver a quality service to the rest of the firm – including resilience and risk management.
- Proactively building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders to collaborate on service delivery, as well as resourcing and talent management.
- Providing leadership support to Team Leads as they develop, as well as enhancing the capabilities of the team and maximising the potential of individuals.
- Managing performance through setting of appropriate goals and objectives, carrying out performance reviews, and being responsible for instigating or carrying out formal management procedures where necessary.
- Leading by example and commanding respect within team/department, creating a culture of energy and quality, within a challenging and stimulating environment.
- Professionally promoting management decisions and presenting difficult messages positively.
- Coaching and nurturing talent in others to achieve their potential, as well as recognising and rewarding successes, promoting others’ efforts and identifying opportunities for others.
- Managing all HR policies and procedures such as monitoring busyness levels, time management, absences and holiday cover, including any associated return to work meetings.
- Supporting the Head of Marketing Services in driving service excellence, operational resilience and maximising opportunities to grow and develop the team.
The Ideal Person
- Significant line management experience in a Manager or Team Lead role, with excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Experience managing processes end to end - autonomous
- Demonstrable experience of working with a range of senior stakeholders and managing individuals with dual reporting lines.
