About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Integrated Front Door (IFD) Service as a full time (37 hour) Business Officer. The role will involve supporting teams such as the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), Missing Exploited and Trafficked (MET) Hub, Early Help Hub and Emergency Duty Team.

What will you be doing?
You will need excellent customer service and communication skills as part of the role requires you to answer queries from professionals and members of the public regarding Safeguarding and Early Help enquiries. You will be liaising with external agencies such as the Police and Schools, so a good understanding of confidentiality and GDPR is required.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work as this is a varied role with short statutory deadlines, along with having good administration skills and the ability to prioritise.
The remit of this role will include, but is not limited to; data entry for missing and founds, composing letters, quality assuring data on a regular basis, collating information for chronologies, answering queries from professionals and members of the public, monitoring team inboxes.
About you
You will be expected to work on your own initiative, keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines. You should have a methodical and concise approach to tasks and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. You will need a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft packages (Word and Excel) and be able to use databases.

Please note the role is a mix of home and office working and an extensive police vetting is required for this role.
