Business Partner - Capital

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated qualified accountant to lead the capital accounting function within Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills, and have a proven track record of delivery.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Finance professional who is used to managing a wide range of stakeholders and is passionate about delivering improvements and efficiencies for the benefit of our patients and our staff.
The Business Partner for Capital is a highly technical role. Working to support the Head of Financial Strategy, the postholder will be required to link with other senior finance leads and staff from across the wider organisation. This is in service of delivering the four main workstreams listed below,

• Developing the Capital Plan,
• Maintaining the asset register, to include leases.
• Supporting investment decisions, including input into major business cases
• Reporting and advising on all aspects of Capital.

Overall, the postholder’s will be expected to use detailed knowledge of the standing financial instructions and standing orders to provide accurate and timely financial support.
