Role Summary
Operational excellence (OpEx) is a business philosophy focusing on continuous improvement and advancing technology-enhanced Business Processes to achieve better results. It aims to increase efficiency, reduce waste and costs, and improve quality and customer satisfaction.
Within the Operational Excellence function, you will perform day-to-day business analysis activities to deliver the Operational Excellence Strategy. You will work with all business units, analysing, benchmarking, and defining business requirements for processes, technology, and business change. This role will include driving the implementation of operational change within the respective division.
Role Accountabilities:
Work with stakeholders at all levels to gather and document Business Process and technology requirements.
Analyse and document existing Business Processes and identify opportunities for improvement utilising a combination of the BSC BA and DMAIC Framework.
Investigate and make recommendations to improve quality and accuracy, resulting in less rework, reduced error rates, and overall cost reduction.
Create process maps, data flowcharts, time and quality metrics, and other documentation to help improve initiatives.
Provide communications and updates to business stakeholders on the progress of actions.
Train and mentor quality champions to support their continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Requirements:
London Market Insurance/Broking experience (preferred)
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and other process improvement methodologies (essential)
Some experience of working within a relevant role (essential)
Experience in process mapping, reengineering, and systems implementation (essential)
Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication is required (at all levels within the organisation).
