Job description

ClearBank was built on the belief that banking infrastructure would no longer slow down progress. Instead, it’s the catalyst that unlocks the potential to innovate. That’s why our clients - financial institutions from fintech’s and crypto platforms, to banks and credit unions - use our API to power their banking infrastructure.

But we wouldn’t be ClearBank without our people. They’re what powers our innovative technology and the reason we love what we do every day. We’re a group of spirited people who are never afraid to challenge the norm - becoming stronger, more energised, and that much better when we’re together. It’s our belief in fairness, autonomy and choice that means our people are empowered with the tools to learn, grow, and contribute to ours and our clients’ success. Interested in joining us? About you

You’ll be joining the Embedded Banking team as a Business Process Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Embedded Banking Propositions, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.

One of our many missions has created an opportunity for a dynamic Business Process Analyst to support the continued evolution of ClearBank’s Embedded Banking proposition. This opportunity will require a blend of skills and experience with focus on delivery and execution whilst providing extensive analytical discipline, robust documentation and critical challenge as ClearBank expands its Embedded Banking proposition within the UK and internationally.

As the Business Process Analyst, you will be expected to have significant experience in analysing, challenging, designing and documenting complex Business Processes – balancing a variety of key stakeholder interests with a robust focus on system and control efficiency to arrive at optimal outcomes. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand the complexities of the Embedded banking proposition, intricacies of other functional needs and interdependencies between all internal, external and regulatory requirements to support the design, implementation and operation of ClearBank’s market leading Embedded Banking solution.

And you’ll be joining one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK, according to Deloitte Fast 50.

You will be:

  • Able to understand, interpret and build internal workflows / business practices aligned to the core propositional requirements of the Embedded Banking offering
  • Confident in collating and assessing business requirements to make credible recommendations in support of process improvements
  • Ideally used to dealing with Operational teams interacting and servicing key / complex clients
  • Detail oriented, but able to show proportionality to achieve a materially complete outcome within time constraints
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret data to identify challenges and inefficiencies
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders to analyse and interpret detailed regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and regulation
  • Significant experience of working as a Business Analyst (or equivalent) and in designing optimal Business Processes based on a complex range of cross functional requirements
  • Excellent communication skills – with the ability to interact, align, influence and negotiate with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering complex change projects – preferably within a Banking or regulated environment
  • A clear, confident communicator who is able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Able to identify and challenge intricate details to ensure outcomes are aligned to wider business requirements
  • Ability to be able to effectively negotiate to resolve conflict and align to overall programme objectives
  • A proactive mindset – ensuring that key topics are identified and tracked through to conclusion
  • Ability to work to tight timelines, juggling numerous competing priorities and resource capacity constraints
  • At ClearBank we have a flexible working philosophy, empowering our employees to manage their time in a way which allows them to meet both work and personal commitments, in partnership with their line manager
  • Spacious and well-equipped new offices in London and Bristol
  • 27 days annual leave per year, plus flexible bank holidays
  • The option to work outside of the UK for up to 30 days per year
  • Regular company-wide socials
  • Take a couple of days per year to volunteer with your chosen charity to do something bigger than ClearBank
  • Private healthcare through Healix and discounted Bupa dental cover, with employee healthy living perks and discounts through YuLife
  • Enhanced family-friendly leave
  • Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to join an innovative team that’s building a bank fit for the future! 🚀
