About the role

Join TRICARE as a Business Process Analyst and play a pivotal role within the Business Process Management Function. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and provide innovative solutions to streamline workflows and achieve organizational goals. Take the lead, working closely with a designated Project Manager and Process Owner, to implement process changes and enhancements within TRICARE.

Key responsibilities

Process Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing Business Processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements.

Data Gathering and Documentation

  • Collect and analyze relevant data to understand the current state of Business Processes.
  • Document and maintain existing processes, workflows, and associated data points.

Process Mapping

  • Develop detailed process maps and flowcharts to illustrate current and future state processes.
  • Clearly communicate process changes and improvements to stakeholders.

Identify Opportunities for Improvement

  • Prioritize opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized processes.

Performance Metrics

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Business Processes.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of implemented process improvements.

Technology Integration

  • Evaluate existing and potential technology solutions to support and enhance Business Processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement technology solutions aligning with process improvements.

Change Management

  • Complete change impact assessments and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and projects from a process SME perspective.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies for a smooth transition.

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively seek opportunities for ongoing process improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in Business Process management.

About you

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in Business Process analysis and improvement.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, ideally BPMN 2.0, and analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams/functions.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.

Required Work Experience

  • Proven experience in Business Process analysis and improvement.
  • Proficiency in BPMN 2.0.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Visio, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in SAP Signavio or other Process Repository Tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma qualifications desired.

Required Languages

  • English language required.

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Up to 10% - This position may require travel to other TOP regions to support workshops (for process discovery and improvement).
