- Experience of working within a regulatory mortgage lending, sales or broking based environment
Duties include:
- Managing a broker portfolio to drive new business and increase lending volumes via proactive outbound calling
- Working closely with a field BDM and Key Account Manager to deliver jointly owned targets, as well as supporting the wider sales team
- Responsible for daily industry news, resolving mortgage application issues, welcome call activity and latent or lapsed brokers within the region
- Delivering effective broker management within the region, optimising proactive sales time
- Participating in monthly calling campaigns and sales meetings, working with marketing initiatives and reporting on successes
- Proactively selling services and products via calling
- Handling broker telephone and email queries
- Gathering market intelligence including competitor movements and sharing within the team
- Occasionally attending trade roadshows and industry events
- Adhering to internal policy and regulatory requirements
- Successful proactive outbound contact to new and existing brokers with evidence of portfolio growth and meeting targets
- Ability to work collaboratively with field-based in internal sales teams, as well as marketing
- Ability to make successful high-quality relationship and sales management decisions resulting in increased business levels
- Experience of working within a regulatory mortgage environment, with an understanding of the full loan lifecycle
- Relevant relationship management experience within a mortgage lending, sales or broker-based environment
