The Opportunity:

As a Business Reporting & Operations Partner, you play a critical role in the Analytics & Reporting team. Your responsibility is to develop and standardize business performance reporting solutions that provide a clear and globally aligned understanding of your markets, your customers, and your competition. The deliverables from your role will offer 'One Source of Truth' across data and metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making across global commercial brand teams.

This position will focus specifically on reporting solutions for the International Commercial (INT-C) division, working collaboratively with several partners such as global/regional Commercial Insights, Marketing, and Information Systems (DigitalX) teams to balance the needs of all relevant stakeholders and deliver standardized, automated analytics reporting to the business.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Take accountability and act upon data bottlenecks, escalating to the Business Analytics & Reporting lead any data governance infringements or complex issues.
  • Lead the development of the visualization of analytics, co-creating with internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring it is appropriately scoped before generating solutions.
  • Identify and act upon data gaps, asking the right questions of key stakeholders and co-creating methodologies to form solutions to close down gaps and improve data capture and reporting processes.
  • Effectively translate and visualise complex data sources in a way that is relevant and simple to understand for all levels of the business.
  • Identify and deliver innovative and established options to develop and roll-out self-service functionality, working collaboratively with local stakeholders to map business requirements.
  • Responsible for the consistent and harmonised management of data and business analytics and reporting in line with the Business Strategy.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a data or reporting/dashboard-related role.
  • Deep knowledge of reporting tools and platforms Such as QLIK, and Spotfire.
  • Expertise in analytics, able to identify and scope data/analysis requirements, specifically strong on visualization of analytics, and knows when to utilize different methods of support and analytics.
  • Experienced manager of external vendors delivering success criteria that have been measured and audited regularly with successful outcomes.
  • Good working knowledge of Data Compliance and Data Privacy policies and procedures and their application in a working environment.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Post-graduate qualification such as MBA and/or MSc or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Project management experience
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT Degree or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • Location: UK (Addlestone).
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per month in our Addlestone office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
