SalarySmile Education are thrilled to be supporting a busy school in the Wigan area with the recruitment of a Business Studies Teacher.
We are currently seeking a Business Studies Teacher to join this friendly team from April 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a Class Teaching position, including marking and planning. You will be supporting pupils of mixed ages and abilities, strong differentiation skills are required to ensure pupils are able to access the curriculum at their own level.
This is a great opportunity for both experienced Business Studies Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) alike. The school is based in the Wigan area, within proximity to Ince-in-Makerfield, Hindley, Bickershaw and Wigan town centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £140-190 per day, depending on experience level.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both experienced class teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Hold qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
