Business Studies Teacher

We are recruiting a GCSE Business Studies Teacher for a vibrant 11-16 academy school in Rochdale. The ideal Teacher can also teach KS3 Computing. This position is due to start as soon as possible, for two terms.

This is a new academy school that has excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. This is an exciting school to work in as they are always at the forefront of trying new initiatives.

School

Business Studies Department

• Very friendly, welcoming department team.
• Strong SLT link in the department.
• Strong HOD.

• Wealth of resources available.

Pupils

• Years 7- 11.
• A range of abilities, including SEN.
• Some low-level challenging behaviour.
• Behaviour is improving under a dedicated behaviour team.

Role of the Business Studies Teacher

• Starting ASAP.
• Temporary position, could extend to a permanent post.
• Teaching GCSE/KS4 Business Studies.
• Teaching KS3 Computer Science as a second subject would be an advantage.

Ideal Business Studies Teacher

• Good at building relationships.
• Engaging and interactive.
• Patient with a range of approaches to teaching.
• Previous experience of teaching GCSE/KS4 Business Studies at secondary level is essential.
